Hey everyone, how’s it going? I wanted to share how my conversation with Ricardo went. Basically, I reached out because he works at Harumi and has experience with Optimization — which is one of the most important topics in AI, even though it’s not discussed as fluently as it should be. During our chat, I realized how deeply he understands both optimization and business. He answered my questions, talked about the optimization market, the importance of academic degrees, and much more. It was a very smooth and easygoing conversation. In fact, that conversation gave me a huge boost to pursue Industrial Engineering. Even though I’m already employed, I feel that optimization is going to be a crucial part of my professional life.
